PaAro – where every drape is crafted, not manufactured

STUNNING, STYLISH AND WITHIN REACH

The PaAro Philosophy
At PaAro, we believe clothing is never just clothing. Our collections are designed to feel timeless rather than seasonal — pieces you reach for years later and still love just as much.

Every PaAro piece is guided by three simple ideas:

Craft First

We honour the hands behind the fabric. The artisans, weavers, and makers whose skills transform threads into heritage.

Timeless Design

We design for longevity, not trends. Pieces that feel relevant today and meaningful years from now.

Intentional Beauty

Beauty that is thoughtful, rooted, and authentic — never rushed.

Each collection is built around carefully sourced materials — breathable linens, heritage silks, and soft cottons — chosen for their texture, durability, and comfort. These fabrics are then shaped into designs that balance tradition with contemporary ease, allowing each piece to feel both classic and relevant.

PaAro stands at the intersection of craft, design, and purpose — creating garments that feel timeless, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the hands that make them.

Meet the Founders

PaAro was born from the meeting of diverse thoughts and one shared passion – the dream to ignite, sustain and fuel the interest in India’s prolific heritage of handicrafts.

At its heart are two women who believe that what we wear can carry stories, memories, and meaning.

Aronee Ghosh

Aronee Ghosh comes from a world of research, development work, and public policy. With over a decade of experience across governance, education, and social impact, she has worked with organizations and governments to design programs that improve lives through evidence-based decision making. She later deepened her expertise with a master’s degree in Governance and Public Policy as a Chevening Scholar.

Payal Pathak

Payal Pathak brings the storyteller’s instinct to PaAro. With years of experience shaping narratives, brand voices, and strategic communication across global organizations, she has built a career around connecting ideas with audiences. In her spare time, she likes to dabble in Rabindra Sangeet and Indian classical music.

The Balance

Aronee brings the structure — thoughtful, analytical, and deeply rooted in impact.

Payal brings the narrative — warmth, storytelling, and the instinct for what resonates.

Like warp and weft, they build PaAro together.

The Meaning Behind PaAro

Some names are chosen.
Some names are felt.

PaAro carries the warmth of nostalgia and the spirit of individuality — born from the amalgamation of distinctly different yet complementary ideas. The name itself takes birth from Payal and Aronee’s names and takes wings in their shared identities.

To us, PaAro represents the modern Indian woman: rooted yet evolving, graceful yet strong.

She may wear a handwoven saree one day and contemporary silhouettes the next. She values craft but also embraces change. She understands that fashion is not about fitting into a moment, but expressing who you are.

PaAro was created for this woman.

Every piece we create is imagined as something she would love to wear — not just today, but for years to come.

PaAro Circle

PaAro is not just a brand.
It is a circle.

The PaAro Circle includes designers, stylists, storytellers, customers, and friends of the brand — women who believe clothing can carry identity. Some come for the textures of handwoven sarees, some for the comfort of handcrafted jootis, others for the feeling of wearing something that holds history.

But they stay because PaAro feels personal.

Each collection is shaped through conversations, inspirations from travel, memories of grandmothers’ wardrobes, heirloom textiles, and the rhythms of everyday life.

In the PaAro Circle, fashion is not seasonal.

It is emotional.

Artisan Connect

Behind every PaAro piece is a story that begins far away from storefronts and websites — often in homes where looms hum softly and generations of knowledge pass quietly from hand to hand.

PaAro works closely with artisans and craft communities across India who carry forward traditions that have survived centuries. Through close collaboration with artisans, weavers, and craft communities across India, PaAro seeks to support traditional skills while creating sustainable opportunities for the people behind the craft.

Each product represents not just craftsmanship, but a shared commitment to preserving heritage and strengthening livelihoods.

To us, artisans are not vendors.
They are collaborators.

Our Artisan Connect initiative is built on a simple belief — craft should be valued, visible, and viable for the future.

By working with skilled weavers, textile makers, and craft practitioners, PaAro hopes to bring their artistry into modern wardrobes while ensuring that their stories travel with every piece.

Because every thread deserves recognition.
Every hand deserves dignity.
And every craft deserves continuity.

PaAro is still a young story.

But like the textiles it celebrates, it is built slowly, carefully, and with intention.

And with every piece that finds a home, the circle grows.
